#1 SMTP not working

Hello, I can't believe I am the first one to post,
woohoo. Thanks for the work on the project so far. I
installed it and tried to create a new user for myself,
and the SMTP failed, got these errors:

Warning: fsockopen(): php_network_getaddresses:
getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known
in /mysever/prayer/Include/phpmailer/class.smtp.php on
line 105

Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to :25
in /myserver/prayer/Include/phpmailer/class.smtp.php on

Looks like there are some important values in the
pb_admin table, but I can't get to it from the front end
to work on it, so it is like a chicken and egg problem
now...unless I hack the DB. But then again, I am not
sure what to put for the SMTP settings...

Update: Just hacked DB, made myself active...not
seeing much though, not even to create, I am on
pb_list.php.
