If you are on PHP 4.1.x, use the following function at the top of the
lib.inc.php file. It will fix your problem.

: I just had minor issue with phpPgAdmin. The server that i am using for
hosting had register_globals turned off in the configs. This seems to cause
problems with variables. I am in process on trying to track down all
variables to correct this problem. I could send you the changed code if you
like when finished, but i am sure you are alot more famliar with the code
than i am so probably be easier for you change this as well. Just a minor
suggestion nothing important.
