I keep getting the "login failed" message. I have checked the steps listed in the FAQ and everything is ok. (No error messages in the log, pg_hba.conf set up correctly, socket is open.) I'm not sure what else to try. I'm running phpPgAdmin 3.2.1 on PostgreSQL 7.4 and PHP 4.3.4. Any suggestions?

i have the same problem.
with FreeBSD, the ports work well (3.0.1), but the nex 3.2.1 version said "login failed" :-(
the owner and the rignts are the same.

If nothing's being logged, then are you sure it's even managing to reach the database server? Are you sure you set up the right domain/ip, port, etc.?
