When I insert the Name "Vlz" via terminal, it is displayed as "Vvlz" in phpPgAdmin 3.0. By the way: 2.4.2 shows "Vlz" correctly. If change any other field in the entry via phpPgAmdin, "Vvlz" is inserted. When I enter "Vlz" via Keyboard in phpPgAdmin 3.0 "Völz" is inserted. What do I have to change that the vowel mutations are displayed correctly? It worked with 2.4.2, so anything must have been changed in 3.0.
What encoding did you create your database with?
Also, if you view the source of the webpage which it's displaying the mutations, what is the encoding being used in the META tag? Please tell me what 3.0 and 2.4.2 are using.
I strongly believe that you have not created your database with the correct encoding...
Also, if you could make an example database and pg_dump it and send it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org, it'd be handy so that I could test it.
