#6 Passwords for some users are garbled

I have created a new user and when I try to use it, the passwords are all garbled (cannot be read, contain weird symbols).

In the logs (debug mode enabled) I see this for the users having troubles:

The weird thing is that for some accounts the tool works, for some other it doesn't. How to fix this issue?
