hi folks,
yes, I know, it's my first posting as the maintainer of the
PHPOpenChat-Project, but please keep in mind:
* I have to do my 10h-a-day-job to be able to feed my two kids
* I can't sit longer than 2-3 hours on my computer at weekend. All
merried members know what I mean ;-)
Okay, what's up with the POC?
Currently we do a really big merge between two cvs branches for release
3.0.x and 3.1.x. That's a bit difficult, 'cause over the years there are
big diff's between the two branches and so it takes alot of our time to
fix the cvs-conflicts and to get the result running. If this job is
finished, we going to release a first beta of 3.1.x.
For updates from 3.0.x to 3.1.x, there will be a DDL/DML-script for a
continuing use of existent databases.
3.1.x-Features:
* Traffic statistics within the administration interface
* customizable lines of other dialog partners. A chatter can overwrite
the line styles, like the font-family, -size, -color, and the
-decoration of other chatters lines.
* new chat logging features
* new IRC-commands like /ban /unban /away
* Dice game
* and alot of minor things
In this week, we release 3.0.1 with some minor new features and bugfixes
* xhtml error in registration confirmation (only if content is delivered
as application/xhtml+xml)
* added check for value of session.use_trans_sid. The delivery of
content as application/xhtml+xml depends on (session.use_trans_sid==0)
now. php adds invalid xhtml-code if session.use_trans_sid==1
for example, php appends to a link: &PHPSESSID=0815 instead of
&PHPSESSID=0815
* new config-property MAX_EMAIL_REGISTER_COUNT. For one e-mail address,
users can register MAX_EMAIL_REGISTER_COUNT times only now.
* if POCs browser window is in the background there is a new task bar
flashing when someone posts new text in the chat window.
Okay. That's it for now.
Have fun using POC!
regards,
-michael
