[PHPOpenChat-Users] POC runs, but..

Hi all,

I have an issue with phpopenchat.
Just installed it on my server, redirected a subdomain, all greens on
test.php, the first page gets loaded, I can register users, create new
rooms, everything seems fine.

But a strange thing happens.

First of all, after installing, the first line on the page still says
"welcome to the installation of PHPOpenChat" even after having
installed and configured it. But nevermind.

Then, when I log in from my computer, as operator or normal user, it
gets on the chat page, you can personalize it, choose another room and
so on, but on the top right, where there's supposed to be the window
of the connected users it says "connecting.." and the line below "XX".
And no other users showed.
I tried on my girlfriend's computer and it works smooth instead.
Moreover, if I write in the chat I can see nothing, she can see what I
write instead, apart from what she writes.

We are on the same network, connected to the internet via the same
router, and we use the same version of mozilla.
I tried to use her login access data on my computer but nothing changes.

Anybody had had the same problem?
