[PHPOpenChat-Users] Problem using phpopenchat with php 5.1

the following error occured

at /www/mineralienatlas/htdocs/chat/include/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php:22
[2048] var: Deprecated. Please use the public/private/protected modifiers

with php 4.3.1 it works fine.

is there a fix for php 5.1
