[PHPOpenChat-Users] maximum users Question

Hi ,

Well i can;t stop thinking... i definitely want to use php and flahs to =
build a chatsite /chat application..
but i get scared somehow for people say php will not work with many =
users on the chat site/ rooms.

Has anybody tested it??
Let's say i have 1000 visitors a day with maximum 50 active! chatters in =
one room, and 50 in another room etcetera....
Much will depend on how the server will handle it all offcourse... but  =
guess someone of you could knows more about the limits.
