Is there any plans to stop the 'text input' frame reloading when the submit button is pressed? This is rather annoying because you have to wait for it to reload before you can type again.

The refresh of the input-frame is needed to update the user-list and the channel-list it contains. We welcome any better solution.

I encoutered the same problem with the private_frameset.php,
wouldn't it be good to divide the window in a frameset where you just reload the upper part...
or maybe use AJAX but I must confess I'm not familiar with that technology :)

you can speed up the reload by editing the input.php-file. go to the end of the script and comment out the line which is
sleep(2);

you wont need to reload a whole frame to update a dropdown list.
why dont you just update the list when person klick on the sendbutton or something?
