I just installed the newest PHPOpenChat on July 4th, 2002 on a linux system with only minor annoyances to the setup.
It seems to me the install.php could change permissions to .htaccess and defaults_inc.php to read only when it is done. Also instead of Error 500, it could put up a page letting the user know the permissions need to be setup as read only for the files after the initial install/setup. Just an idea.
Well, that was only a minor few minutes of thought inducing lack of full install documentation, though not seriously a problem as such.
My Question, after creating a user and several channels I noticed I could not add any topics in the blackboard either as my user or in the normal admin panel. I see no buttons or options for adding more topics, only commenting on the default topic...Topic: PHPOpenChat
How do I add more topics in Blackboard?
