Ok, heres the deal, I'm running Apache server 2.0.48 with PHP 4.3.4 and I have mySQL installed serving as the database server for phpBB2.0.6 and PHPOpenChat. I'm also running all this under Windows XP Home. I sucessfully installed the script, and got it to come up ok and connect to the database ok, but then I run into problems. I can login and work with everything using operator...but when I went to register a new name I had some problems. First it would tell me that the "send_mail" line in php.ini was not set the custom "From:" line in config.inc.php was not correct. It would give me two other errors I don't remember and tell me that it could not write to the temp folder. I eveually gave up on that and disabled the SEND_MAIL_TO_FREEMAIL_ACCOUNTS option which got rid of all of those errors. Now the only error it has, I and I think the only error standing between working and not working, is "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getmxrr() in C:\Apache2\htdocs\phpopenchat\include\class.Chatter.inc on line 1615" Does anyone know what is causing this? How to fix it? If you need more information or configuration data, tell me. My server address is http://server213.webhop.net/phpopenchat --> I am using an ISP that rotates IPs not so often, but there is always a chance this will not work...also, my computer is not on all the time, so if you need more info, please email me or respond to this...
Thanks!
Brian

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!! I didn't acually find out what the problem was exactly, but I solved it by replacing my php.ini file with the php-recommended file that came with my distro. My guess is it was something with a setting or whatnot that caused the problem.
