    hi there,

i downloaded the chat, and the latest php and mysql versions. php and mysql is running fine, configured it propper with usr/passwords etc. if i launch the ../html/admin/install.php i see the 1 screen where to enter usr/pwd/host - but after typing usr/pwd nothing happens. after hitting ok the screen appears again. with no error-msg... ???

if i lounch the ../html/index.php i only see 3 links (My profile  | Toplist  | Did you forget your password?)
and of course the phpoc-logo - there should be more! if i look at the html-sourcecode the page is closed correct (</body></html>) but the starting part iss missed (no <html><body> etc...)

i realy dont know, what i did wrong... im thankfull in advance for any help

(sorry 4 my bad engl. ;o)

ah, eh: i didnt change the default-romm (channel_1) and in the admin-area i can see the menu edit-channels with the default-channel but i cant change it, or add a new channel. the same effect in the other admin-submenues...

i though this could help you to get a better view... tnx!

phpOpenChat can not handle a configuration, where register globals is set off. this will come into next version, so this time you have to edit php.ini or .htaccess and switch register_globals to on
