I've recently installed my chat and I'm not sure whats wrong. Every time I try to post anything, it says "...Ooops..." before and after each character I typed!
For example, all I typed was "Hi!" and this was the outcome:
operator says to everybody:
...Ooops...H...Ooops...i...Ooops...!...Ooops...
What is doing this?

I saw this same issue when I set the disallowed words array in config.inc.php to an empty set. I added one gibberish word to the array and the problem resolved itself.
