#586 trying to get it to work

Hi,

I’m Antonio form NZ and interested to learn php and programming every day.
Recently I am trying to make a chat room, but I started to look at different programmers’ code and learn from their ideas.
Your script looks very well organized and well-done.
However I tried to install the chat room using the install.php and followed the stept till it gets to step three which asks to initialize the data base and when i do that goes to next step without any thing showing on page.

I tried to install and configure it manually, but no luck.
Also I ran to the problem that addressing the temp file and I changed the address to a new created folder in the main folder named ’mytemp’ but it says that server doesn’t have permission to access the file which doesn’t make sense.

I used the latest download and I am using mysql and windows base machine.

I will appreciate if you can put me in right track.
