include/class.Chatter.inc:2403 DB-Update failed. SQL: ""

This error shows up in /var/log/messages when I tried to login for the first time.

test.php show everything is good except the private chatter icon writable dir.

This seems to be a database issue as the query looks empty.

System is FreebSD 5.4, Apache 1.3.31/fastCGI/suexec & PHP 4.3.10.
