#268 Installation problem

test.php shows nothing but empty tags.

install.php gets thru 1st step OK, but on 2nd step either complains that config.inc.php does not have write permissions - or deletes the config.inc.php file if I give it write permissions.

I've been through this over and over numerous times.

I am a PHP developer but I don't programm in classes, so this code is not easy for me to read and I don't have a lot of time.

The database setup just fine.

I am getting no error displays whatsoever, except when I failed to give write permissions on the config file.

Any help would be appreciated. Looks like I may have to pass on this one and try another chat program.
