Sorry to bother you with a non technical query, I hope you don't mind.
As someone who's main skill is visual design and html, I was absolutely delighted to find phpmyopenchat, i've been searching for days for something appropriate! Outstanding job.
As such and as an english speaker I was just wondering if i could help in any way, as I cannot afford to donate.
I hope to use the application to run multiple chat rooms, alongside a phpbb forum all of which will be free and based around the UK and USA dating scenes. Also part of the site will be a paid dating service run by an affiliate service.
I notice you mention that the application has phpbb integration, however your team seems to be based on phpnuke, perhaps i should document my progress installing it on phpbb? I will also most probably be creating new graphics, which i will be more than happy to share with you.
I was wondering how bandwidth and loads compare with java. I hope to run about 10 different rooms, each allowing 40 people. Can you give me any idea of what to expect?
