At the sourceforge site it says that the version is 5.2 but nothing is there. Did someone messup? (I'm having problems with the 5.1 version and I'm hoping this fixes it). Chris Bruner |

Due to various problems with SourceForge service, phpMyEdit is not available to download at SF.net anymore. Since it is open source project, and will remain hopefully forever, phpMyEdit is published on its new homepage at http://www.platon.sk/projects/phpMyEdit/ Note that this link with information about this issue is written in the ChangeLog and release notes at SourceForge. But due to really bad handling of user input text is output HTML page damaged and difficult to read. Sorry for that, but its not my mistake anyway. -- _/| Ondrej Jombik - ne...@ph... - http://www.nepto.sk - OJ812-RIPE <_ \ Platon SDG - open source software development - http://platon.sk `\| UNIX is user friendly. In my opinion taking a project off Sourceforge and putting new versons soley on another website is a bad idea. It makes the project look bad, and makes it look like a single person's effort rather than a team effort. This definitely makes me think twice about using PHPMyEdit. There are several problems with my dial-up account and SourceForge. It is TERRIBLY slow and does not allow me to log in without staying in SSL and/or with remembering me. > In my opinion taking a project off Sourceforge and putting new versons > soley on another website is a bad idea. I cannot completely understand why are Sourceforge projects looking "better" that another projects, but anyway I'm not damaging any team effort. In fact there was only few persons who seriously helps me with phpMyEdit development and I'm still in contact with them to consult further ideas and thoughts. > This definitely makes me think twice about using PHPMyEdit. Hi Ondrej, What are the phpMyEdit current anonymous CVS read parameters, as well as the CVS status at this time? Has anything changed since the 5.2 release? Anonymous CVS access is written [1] on the Platon SDG homepage [2]. There is also possibility to download the latest CVS version using CVSweb interface [3]. You can review changes since 5.2 release using the same interface. Due to my university exams is phpMyEdit developement these days not as fast as are my wishes. However I'm accepting patches; and some people are already working on some things (such as database abstraction implementation). Also note, that in the following weeks the Platon SDG support forum will be opened and 5.3 release will come with extensive and comprehensive documentation which is almost done nowadays (and located in CVS as well).
