weve migrated to a new server and have encountered problems with the php3 suffix. The provider told us to convert to php. How can we update from php3 ?

You shouldn't have to change the .php3 file extension. I'm running a RedHat 7.3 server and it works fine. There might be something missing in the new configuration of the server. I would have to know what type of server to really know though. There might even be some modules you need configured. You can always rename all the .php3 files to .php, but you would then have to update all the text in the files to match the newly changed file extentions. There was also a person that made all the proper changes and was offereing to send anyone the updated files, you would have to find the post he left in this forum though. Give him an e-mail and I'm sure he'll be happy to help.
