Part of the intall process asks you how long you want chat messages to be retained....default setting is 96 hours (I've modified this setting to 48 hours). There is also a setting that specifies how many messages retained on screen before they scroll off.....mine set to 30.
So my question is how does one go back and view all messages in past 48 hours? Is there an interface to do this? Is this just an admin option or can users view as well?
Thanks in advance
Chris

You can use the /show command. The only problem with this, is you have to guess on how many messages where actually submitted. For example.... You think there were 100, so you type in /show 100, and that will show the last hundred, if you there are more, just keep going up till you get to the end... The way I do it though, is I look in the MySQL database and view the messages there. I use the webmin interface for this, makes it real easy to view in a graphical environment. Your provider might other something like this through cpanel, and if not, call and complain....lol
