Everything works fine, except one thing:
If some user enters a text, it is not shown
on the chatpage. It isnt a problem of the browser, because I tested it with more than 8 different programs and versions...
Urgent help needed!
Thanks

Please have a look at the bug report model included in the package: we need to know which release of phpMyChat you are using, which OS + php release, db software.... also.
Maybe you can also send us the url of your chat so we can see the bug "in action".

Loc

Its probably not a bug, it friggin netscape. Im running client side linux-netscape 4.78, freebsd 4.3. Server side freebsd 4.3, apache 1.3.20, php 4.06, mysql 3.23.40. Mozilla (works like a charm as usual, ver 0.9.3), IE 5.5 works. Ill test with windows NN later. But its a no go for the linux version :(
Otherwise, very cool software......

can't see no etxt in chat window either:
netscape fails to reload the chat-window-frame everyx 10 sec. using 0.14.5, php 4.0.6, FreeBSD 4.2 on server-side an FreeBSD 4.2 and netscape 4.76 for linux on client-side. Mozilla does well. Netscape also doesn't play animated gifs more than once (no loop)!
If you enter text yourself, the screen gets refreshed and all the "missed" messages appear.
All that occurs at your chat as well!
Don't know, if it's an bug in mychat or in linux-netscape (I think the last).
Regards, Niko.

I can't reproduce the problem with NS4.75 for winwin :(
Do you see any message send the javascript debugger window?

So do I but maybe we can find a workaround once we know where is the bug.
