As I said, I need a url to see with my own eyes of kinda blank is that!
Until then, make sure the server allows the use of .htaccess files. If it doesn't allow that, just remove that file from your chat root folder.

Well I am have exactly the same problem. I had to use the manual install and everything worked great until I actually tried to get into chat then get nothing but a blank page or a error

Well I what I just did is to revert back to the default index.php and am having some results. The page does not look anything like I am use to see in phpmychat since I was using the old cpanel install. I still thing some things are a bit out of whack. http://www.ten-ten.org/plus
Having to abandon 14.6 due to abusers and really want to get the page up correctly. As I said the auto install fail due to ftp errors which may have been a problem with the cpanel setup

See? That is not a blank page! It's a page without css style! That's why I needed to see what you mean...
In your case msojka, change the permissions of your "plus" folder back to CHMOD 755. That is a bug in the installer which sometimes modifies it to 777 and doesn't change it back. If plus is 777, no stylesheet will be loaded.
          Hope this helps.

Do the same with your config folder and also check the file config/config.lib.php to be 644.
      I know this helps ;)

Thanks for the quick response I was on when you logged in. It was not the /plus directory it was sitting at 755 and the config.lib was 644. But there was a weird chmod on the /config 1363 set it to 755 and all is normal.
