Control time a room is available?

Is there a way to have a room (the default/my only) only be available during a
specific time. If someone logs in during that time, display a message that the
chat is only available from X to Y on the login page? The message is displayed
at the top too, but people login to chat anyway.

Any help is appreciated.

This was on the to do list, but never implemented.

I did make it work for an user in the past, just need to recall and find the
patch needed to be done. I'll let you know.
