    I am not to familiar with PHP, though I followed the instuctions provided by phpMyChat 1.9+. But when I enter step 7:

    Test your site functionality by opening http://yoururl.com/plus (plus is the name you used in step 4.) in your browser. Note that there is only one admin right now: admin, password admin.
    --:

    I get the error message: Error: Could Not Connect To Database. I made the database in phpMyAdmin CPanel as directed to. I edited the folder from "plus" and renamed it to "chat". I changed the attributes of the directed files to from their previous attributes to "777" as direct.

    Did I do something wrong or was there a step that wasn't written?

        Did you deleted meantime? It's a 404 there...
        Anyway, the reason was you haven't put the right format of the database name and username.
