is it possible to make phpMyChat on hosted webspace faster ? Because now it sometimes hangs and jumps. What about serverpush or caching ? I mean, in a few months, I wanna buy a server and co-locate it, so I'm gonna have really enough resources but what could I make now ?
And what about 0.15.0 ? Is it gonna be faster and perhaps more stable ?

The is no way to implement "server push" technology within phpMyChat since at least IE (the most widespread browser) doesn't support it.
Caching? Well we've begun to work on this for the 0.15.0 release but only for little things: what to cache on an active chat...?
0.15.0 is mainly gonna be far more secure and more optimized in the database design area. But you may give a test to the current dev. stage: phpmychat.sourceforge.net/cvs/
