I have no problem connecting with the mysql library, but changing the config to use the odbc either just times out or crashes php on my local system. The same thing happens if I try to connect to either a MySQL or SQL Server Database. I have other scripts that use the same odbc connections that work just fine.
I would appreciate it if anyone can answer why this might be happening.
