Hi Arsen!
This is a browser related problem: the use should have
typed a message while he was using a charset that do not
fit to his keyboad and the browser (IE does this, at least)
changes the characters to their unicode values.
We can't do much for this....

I think this is big security issue, that prevents normal
chat functionality.

Hi!
I can't reproduce this problem. If I type the message
a <img src="http://freenet.am/~armosh_/satana.jpg"> test
I see the exactly this message either in the message frame
and in the "export" popup.
Which phpMyChat release are you using? Can you give a try
to the last dev. release (see http://phpmychat.sf.net/cvs/)?
