phpMyCatalog-0.4.0 has been released. This release includes interesting new features such as deleting catalogs, help section and advanced cataloging options.
See ChangeLog for more details
A demo site is now available for phpMyCatalog. Here you can see phpMyCatalog in action before downloading it. Although the demo is quite poor (you can't catalog Cds !! - the main function of the program) you can try a few searchs or catalog the default directory again and again. Anyway you can see something working.

The project home page now includes better documentation, specially in the Installation section.
It will be included in the next release, but since now it is available for those who had some problems during installation.
More documentation improvements still to come.
I'm glad to comunicate that I'm not alone anymore. Optimates joins the project !!
Although we haven't talked much yet, I feel that he will be in charge of something important soon.
This release incirpores advanced search feature. Now you can filter results by a variety of parameters (catalog type, file type, extension, size and date).
There have also been changes in database structure, but as promised, a method to migrate from 0.2.0 is provided in case you have valuable data already stored on the database.
Enjoy it!
This release incorpores the final database structure. So you can start filling-up the database since now.
Use it and tell me what is missing in the program.
This is the begining of the project that would let you manage your CD collection easily with your linux box.
This first release is working, but 0.2.0 is coming soon and will change database structure a little bit. So test 0.1.0 and wait until 0.2.0 to fill-up your database.
Developing of phpMyCatalog on SourceForge.net has started. 0.1.0 was already done before SourceForge's hostinf and I will release it soon.
0.2.0 Is also near !
