Hi!

I am storing images in my MySQL database. I have tried
to make a "dump" of my database, and to move it to my
local computer.

But when I run the SQL-file containing binary data
(images), I get an error in my SQL-query. Probably
because the binary data gets translated into ASCII.

I guess some of the binary data makes an " ' " or
an " " ", and that makes the query to fail.

Does anybody know how to overcome this problem? How
can I move/copy a database containing binary data from
one computer to another?

(I think I can use the MySQL/ODBC Driver, but I'd like
to copy/move the db with phpMyAdmin)

Thanks!!

Torbjřrn

PS: Thanks for making phpMyAdmin openSource!!!

I'm using 2.2.1.rc2. Guess I should update - but in
previous versions I have had the same problem...

    Hi!

You should upgrade since we had fixed problems with binary
    data since 2.2.1-rc2.
