Attached patch organizes the sections in database operations tab in to two columns, as in table operations tab, making the page more compact.

    I like the effect of this patch but I think its implementation can be improved. The only reason for using ids for the divs is to apply CSS on it, so why not use classes instead? (The same for table operations). So for example

    .operations_half_width {
    min-width: 48%;
    float: <?php echo $left; ?>;
    }

    .operations_full_width {
    width: 100%;
    clear: both;
    }

    Yeah that seems more logical. However you'll need a 3rd class to be used when you want to force some div to go to left.

    It already exists and is named clearfloat. Is this what you're talking about?

  • Madhura Jayaratne

    Yes, indeed.
    Please see the newly attached patch. It alters both db operations and table operations to use classes for styling.

    Was this fixed? The DB operations tab looks weird for me in Firefox 3.6.16 and Opera 11.0, but it's OK with Chrome...
    I use 64-bit Ubuntu Linux and PMA latests GIT. Please find a screenshot attached.

    Hi Rouslan,
    What's your screen resolution? And was the screen shot taken when the browser is maximized?

  • Rouslan Placella

    Hey Madhura,

    My screen resolution is 1280x1024 (same as in the screenshot that I posted) and yes, the browser was maximised. I noticed that that both opera and chrome render the content with a slightly smaller font than firefox, could that be the issue? Do you need any additional information?

    Rouslan
