You should put in a limit for displaying the binary
log. I have set my binray log files to 128000 kB max.
When I click on binary lock and PMA is listing all the
entries of one binary log file my browser doesn't like it.

Maybe you should also have a look at RFE 1099317 in
this case ;)

I thing this is more a feature request than a bug.

I'd argue this is more of a bug. I've got my binary logs set
to 25M, and even at that size that's several tens of
thousands of records per file. This is enough to drive PHP
over a reasonable memory limit (32M) and returns results far
too big to be useful in a web browser. Heck receiving that
much HTML on a single page load takes forever and is likely
to crash browsers when they run out of memory parsing it! If
this isn't an issue why are normal SQL queries paged?

So please, at least implement paging for binlog events, and
searching would be an added bonus. Please.

I have written a small script for searching in the binlog
files. I could give you the code. Maybe it will be a good
    starting point.

Memory limit problems should be gone with current CVS (the
query results were buffered without need for that). However
paging is a bit more complicated and I still lack time to do
    that.

j0erch: You can attach it to RFE#1099317 (which is about
searching), when somebody gets to implementing this, it
    might be useful.

The paging is there since 2.11, closing this feature request.
