#1638 Change table name or column name directly on double clicking on it

Hello friends,

I am fresher in it, I have idea to change column name and table name by double clicking on name from user interface.

I ready to develop this kind of feature in phpmyadmin.

Table name and column names are shown at various places such as navigation tree, structure tab etc., so where do you intend to implement this functionality?

Hi Chirayu, I personally liked this idea. And if such feature is added, it should be added in the navigation tree, as I feel.
If Krutik is not working on this, then I would like to take up this work if this idea is liked by others too.

I would like to implement this functionality mainly on structure tab.

Hi everybody,

For table structure page, we have normal text entries in the table showing table columns. I think to implement this, we need to change them to anchor links, same as database structure page.

Is it ok?
