When I type a SELECT statement into the SQL box, pMA adds an unwanted "LIMIT 0,30" at the end of it.
I understand the use of this for browsing, but when I enter my own SQL I want it executed as I enter it.

This is a safety measure and it will stay there. To be able to see all the rows, please ensure that your $cfg['ShowAll'] directive is set to true, then you'll have a "Show all" button when the result set is displayed.
