If you have tables linked by InnoDB, then the dropdown box will launch, provided the maximum number of records is set in config.inc.php - however, I think a dropdown for linked table records is easier.

But, there's one big problem - you cannot set the records to NULL if the field is a null one, unless you edit in "Browse" mode. Clicking on the tick box in Edit Mode when a record is already there and setting it to a null one does not allow you to so unless you edit in "Browse" mode.

This bug needs to be looked into; it's happened on the latest build I downloaded [beta version].

    This bug is also found in release version 3.4.7, hence I updated the QA_3_4 branch and put the summary "ok 3.4.8".
