#2150 (ok 2.9) Request-URI Too Large

Server: Apache/2.0.52 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.0.52
OpenSSL/0.9.7d PHP/5.0.2

Linux: 2.6.5-7.108-default

Just like in bug #1253125 while executing a large query
I am unable to use the Back (if given an error) and
Edit links, these both generate a
"Request-URI Too Large" error. However, unlike bug
#1253125 the Explain SQL, Create PHP Code, and Refresh
buttons do work. Attached is the query I am most
recently having this problem with.

Please let me know if you need any further data.

Below are the browsers I have tested this bug with:

    Mozilla Firefox:

on MSIE it does not show me a 414, when I click on the links
    it does nothing at all.

Could you attach also the structure of your tables, it would
    speed up debugging.

Unfortunately I can not. For one the tables used in the
following query have since been deleted as some are
temporary table so it would be an issue trying to recreate.
Second, I would be able to create another large query that
will have the same effects with tables that will not be
deleted however today is my last day at my current job
(horray!). The database this query was against has between
260 - 300 tables depending on what is currently going on at
the time and a query of that size (8K!) will take me some
time to write. I would like to see this issue resolved no
matter what company I am working at as I use this product
    wherever I go.

this happens only if [Edit] opens a new query window, as
workaround first open the query window from the 'New Query
Window' link/icon in the navigation (left) frame and than
    click on [Edit]

i try to find a fix
