phpmyadmin has differnet dom paths for IE and other
browsers, it should be modified to work with all
dom-capable browsers, see:
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66791

(this bug relates to 2.1, but I guess this hasn't fixed
yet?)

    Done in the phpMyAdmin-devel tree. The top of the 'left.js'
    library contains the list of browsers that have
    passed/failed testings. Please complete it or send us a
    message so we can do it.
