Using the following:
- PHP 5.0.4
- MySQL 5.0.4b
- Apache 2.0.52
- phpMyAdmin 2.6.3 rc1

1) I click on Operations for any given table.

2) I select 'latin1_bin' from the Collation dropdown
menu, changing it from the current 'latin1_swedish_ci'.

3) I click submit to save the change, but the SQL that
is generated is (regardless of the collation I choose):

ALTER TABLE `Listing` DEFAULT CHARACTER SET latin1
COLLATE latin1_swedish_ci

    Which browser are you using? Can you reproduce this problem
    with a different browser like Opera or IE or Mozilla?

    To me it seems that your server is not getting the values
    you submitted. Some Mozilla Extensions are known to cause
    such trouble.

    This occurs under both Firefox 1.0.4 and IE 6.0 SP2 on
    Windows XP Pro.

    If I stick print_r($_POST); at the top of
    tbl_properties_operations.php and then submit the change, I
    get the following:

    Array ( [lang] => en-utf-8 [server] => 1
    [collation_connection] => utf8_general_ci [db] => realestate
    [table] => test [tbl_collation] => latin1_bin
    [submitcollation] => Go )

    but the SQL that gets generated is the same as in my first
    comment.
