Many thanks for taking the time to reply to my email! I can understand you're busy! I'll take a look at what you've suggested, and see if that assists me determining the principles.
I've tried emailing you numerous times, but unfortunately each time I'm getting the following error:
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
jwilde@users.sourceforge.net
SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT TO:<jwilde@users.sourceforge.net>:
host mail.sourceforge.net [66.35.250.206]: 550-Postmaster verification failed while checking <my-email-address>
Regards,
Simon

RFC 2821 "Simple Mail Transport Protocol" section 4.5.1 requires the acceptance of mail to the postmaster account on any SMTP server. SourceForge.net requires that the domain of any sender of mail to a SourceForge.net email address accept mail to the required postmaster account.
-- cut ---
What I have also noticed is that when some folks email me at "jwilde@users.sourceforge.net" and the message contains HTML code and other fancy scripting, the SourceForge Spamassassin spam filtering complains about it. Perhaps Spamassassin blocks email messages containing some certain HTML/scripting.
See how that goes
Thanks
John

I'll take a look into that. Perhaps it's to do with my email server, however, I haven't been having problems sending emails to other individuals; also I was able to successfully send an email to you once! However, it's worthwhile checking out.
Thanks for your help.
