Hey guys
I am a php developer and have been using 3-tier Layer architecture with smarty to develop web application(s) I heard about Java Struts and also its port in php which is phpMVC, I looked at it, it looks much more complex in start but very interesting once you understand the flow,
We are developing a commercial CMS system and we want to use the phpMVC for our project is it Stable and should I go fo this?
Thank you
Joseph

I've been using phpMVC for one year now and I can confirm that it is a really stable framework. The only problem is that the project seems to be dead. Last version is one year old. There was a php5 version announced but there's no news . phpMVC could remain as one of the most underestimated php projet, because it's really good compared to other php popular frameworks and better than the other struts port, studs, especially when you combine it with propel and pear::quickform. The documentation is complete. You will just have to implement your own requestprocessor for session handling. John W., are you still alive ???? Please tell us.

I have started the CMS system using the PhpMVC framework, as i have studies the java struts and it looks to be very good.
I don't know why these guys are not putting efforts to stengthen this project, is there any way so we people can contribute to this and make it live? so switching between Java and PHP is never a problem.

as this project seems to be dead why not make it live again, make it more interactive by providing forums like phpBB or SMF for now, we weill build our own later own by using the same the framework, I don't wana see this good project by putting it behine the scenes, What you guys think, please let me know if any one is intersted in making this project alive?
