I am not good with the database stuff, and I suddenly cannot login to the admin part of PHPLinks and desperately need to change a bunch of info - how would I reset the password?  I use cpanel for hosting and stuff,

also, on another website I can login to the admin section, but when I go into configuration, and try to reset the default settings, the page only resets to the default settings (the email needs to be configured etc. and it seems to not have any "write" priveledges or something like that)

    ideas?

    Thanks, Mick

A Know This Is Rather LATE But To Change The Password You Need To Actually Change The Password On The Directory. (Ex. http://www.mysite.com/admin The admin Folder is Password Protected With The Password You Originally Chose) You Just Need To Change The Password For The Whole Admin Folder. If You Use CPanel Then You Would Goto "Web Protect" Then Select The Admin Folder - Then Type In The Username And The NEW Password And Hit The Change Password Button. Hope This Helps
