Last time I checked the only difference between the two template libs
was a couple of dubious bug fixes in the pear lib.

I have a couple of user-sumitted enhancements to template which I will
be merging and committing sometime soon, so I'll do another comparison
between the phplib and pear template classes while I'm at it.
