Are the prereleases stable enough to deploy in production?

Currently development discussion is here too.  I'd also like to see a -dev

Try downloading phplib-7.4-pre2.tar.gz.  The session, auth, and perms work 
w/php 4.2.3 and register_globals off.  Don't know if sessions broke w/4.3.2
and 
register_globals off.
