Marko,

I think "we" pretty much decided by consensus among those who participated
that the php-lib-stable tree was where all releases would come from, and
that the current php-lib tree was far too full of unknowns to be usable.

Phplib developers can get ideas from things in php-lib, but I also believe
the consensus was that we needed to start a new development tree once we
had a real release (not a beta) from the -stable tree.  The CVS tress are
definitely in need of cleaning and organizing.
