Is that the reason why the branching was made in the phplib-stable cvs
tree and not, as one might expect, in the phplib tree?

I thought we settled to use the phplib repository for development and the
phplib-stable only for really stable stuff.

But okay, since the dev-snapshot is actually quite stable, at least for my
conditions here, one might be able to live with it and seen at the history
of all the files and the order in the phplib-stable tree (in comparison to
the overcrowded phplib tree) it's a good thing to do so.

Only that it surprised me that nowhere was explicitely noticed that one
should go for the stable tree.

Sorry to bother this list with this topic.

Perhaps I am just too picky.
