[Phplib-users] php4 session 4.[0.6-2.3]

I have not clear what does work. Of course using $_SESSION where it 
didn't exists as a suoperglobal, does not. But does using 
$sess->register with reg_glob=off work with both 4.0.6 and 4.2.x?
