[Phplib-users] Persistent sessions.

It has been a while since I delved into phplib.  But I have been asked to
modify an existing site.   When a user hits the site a session is started.
No need to authorize, just create variables to be persistent for that
session.  Now the customer wants those variables to be persistent beyond the
current session.  Otherwise, the session never expires.

I know I have seen this topic on a thread before but am unable to find it.
Could someone fill me in?
