Hmm.  Try it with the session4.inc from my patch.  I didn't see this 
behavior with it.  I can reproduce what you see with Gian's.  (It doesn't 
seem like it should but it does)

Is this with default.php3?again=yes? or just default.php3?


Also - What needs to be done to get the updated docs into cvs in a state 
that can be maintained there and built for distribution?
