Hello. I solve it. At least it seems so. I know this is not a mysql message board, but it may be other people with the same problem. After spending lots of nervs and time trying to fix the problem, I saw many "Too many open files" errors, free swap space on disk = 0, many core dumps, seg. faults, etc, etc, and finally the root disk crashed. No, really. I think the computer was not properly configured for working as a server, because after making 2 changes (listed below) it calms down. umem -a umem -n 16384 (larger = better) cat /proc/sys/fs/file-max echo 16484 > /proc/sys/fs/file-max Soon there will be 24 hours without any problems :) Thank you all for your ideas. ________________________________________________________________________ Singurul serviciu 100% confidential din Romania : http://mail.alabala.ro |
