Not my choice -- the company I'm working for may mandate that I move the
application to Oracle, and they definitely would not consider moving to
an Open Source database, even though I'm using Apache/PHP for the Web
frontend.  Given the choice, I would explore Postgres as a possible
alternative, but it is not one of my options.
